Good book I would recommend

A fun and silly must read

Meh. Not a great read.

I went into this book with an open mind and thinking I loved lights out so much this has to be good. I was wrong. There is very little plot. All you smut only lovers will love this book though. I'm going to take a lot of flack for this but I truly hate They/Them pronouns in books. It makes me feel lost like I'm missing someone in a room or conversation. I already have a brain problem this just made it harder to follow. In real life and movies I can understand easily it's just books. I read chapter 2 beginning 4 times before I caught on. Next problem is calling the subscribers subs. I think Dom and sub. Not everything needs to be short hand. There is a ton of slang or short hand words that made it harder to follow. Next there is very little humor or witty banter and that lost my interest a lot. I eventually started skimming just to get it over with. It's like a completely different author wrote this book compared to lights out. Basic story line is kinda Romeo and Juliette but while trying to say Nic is a big bad mob guy it's really his daddy is a meanie head and he has dreams to get away from him. That's it. The one really good parts are with Ally and Josh. I also liked the last few chapters. These are the saving grace chapters. 2.5 stars rounded up.
